From one workshop to thousands of listening rooms

When PETRU introduced its first visualiser, the goal was simple: to make listening to music a little more immersive. No one expected it to become part of so many people's homes.

"PETRU isn't defined by where it's made - it's defined by where it ends up," says Gintaras, founder of PETRU. "Every visualiser eventually becomes part of someone's daily ritual, whether it's spinning a favourite record after work, discovering new music, or simply creating a more immersive atmosphere at home."

Today, PETRU can be found in listening rooms across the world - on shelves beside cherished vinyl collections, in music studios, and in the homes of creators, artists and music lovers who share the same passion for great sound.

From reviewers to creators

Before PETRU reached thousands of homes, it first found its way into the hands of creators who share their passion for music and technology with audiences around the world. Independent reviewers, vinyl enthusiasts and content creators explored the visualiser from every angle, demonstrating how naturally it fits into listening spaces and hi-fi setups.

One of the first to feature PETRU was Techmoan, one of the most respected voices in vintage audio and consumer electronics. His review introduced the visualiser to countless music lovers, and his conclusion captured a sentiment that many customers would later share.

"It's hard to resist."

"If you wanted a record stand, this might be an excuse for you to get some flashy light to go along with it."

Recognized by artists

As the PETRU community continued to grow, so did the variety of people adding the visualiser to their setups. Musicians, DJs and well-known personalities began discovering PETRU - not through sponsorships, but because they genuinely enjoyed the experience it brings to their listening spaces.

Among them was the electronic music duo Disclosure, who shared their thoughts after adding another PETRU visualiser to their setup.

"Love the visualizer - already had one, now I've got one each speaker. So sick haha!"

PETRU has also found its way into the home of actor and passionate music lover Simon Pegg, who enjoys DJing in his free time and has made the visualiser part of his own setup.

"Seeing PETRU become part of the spaces where music is created, collected, and enjoyed is something we'll never take for granted," says Gintaras. "Every artist, creator, and music lover who chooses to add it to their setup becomes part of our story."
