Just like the first edition, this pro edition is just a bit more of everything. More modes, more colors and analog RCA input for instant full range music visualization. It was difficult for me to find a way to feed the RCA because I use mostly digital equipment. My only option was to use zone2 pre amp which doesn't work for digital music but at least USB and AirPlay or play and looks pretty amazing. The mic input is very similar if not exactly the same as the previous model, and I kind of wish, they added a second mic on the opposite side and combined the two so that it was more sensitive. I listene to music at a low volume, so I have to turn the sensitivity 100% and it would be nice just to have a little headroom there. But overall, it still works great. I like the the look, the high-quality and vibrant visualization that is much better than any equalizer visual even on high-end equipment.
