The perfect addition to any vinyl setup
★★★★★ 5/5 · Daniah A. · Saudi Arabia · · Black Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
I absolutely love my PETRU Sync! It’s such a unique piece and honestly completes my vinyl setup. If you’re putting together a record corner, I’d seriously consider making this stand one of the main pieces. It adds so much to the whole setup. The quality is great, it looks even better in person, and shipping was impressively fast. Definitely one of my favorite additions to my vinyl corner. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love the product from Petre Design! The quality is excellent, the design looks amazing, and you can really see the attention to detail that went into making it. It looks even better in person and fits perfectly into my setup.

★★★★☆ 4/5 · Richard V. · Sweden · · White Wood / White-Silver · Verified buyer
Received my unit a week ago and it is really cool.
A great way to give your listening experience added depth. The colors and sensitivity are great. The overall finish of the casing was not as good as I hoped. But I think it is the white color that could use another coat of paint. You only notice this in daylight so in the evening it looks perfect.
Over all I am super happy with the product.
So well made!!!

★★★★★ 5/5 · Robert W. · Canada · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
All the presets are pretty, the brightness adjustment is very useful, and the adjustable sensitivity is really good for if you have varying sound levels.
Was a great gift for my wife, she loves it, and it was well worth the wait for a handmade product to be shipped to Canada.

PETRU Sync is not just a gadget—it’s an experience. It’s for people who want their music to be seen as well as heard, who appreciate craftsmanship, and who enjoy curating a space that feels alive. While it may be a premium-priced accessory, the emotional and aesthetic value it brings makes it a standout addition to any music lover’s setup. It's well worth the price, and i absolutely love it.

I bought the Sync in 205 and love it, so when Petru offered me the Founder's Edition of the new Sync Pro I ordered it immediately. I absolutely love it - even better than the original (didn't think that was possible).Great build quality - this is a quality product and is worth the cost - do not mistake these for something cheaper from Temu/Ali etc.

A simple upgrade with a big visual impact. The LED visualizer brings your music to life, while the record holder beautifully displays the album artwork. Together, they create a cleaner, more premium-looking Hi-Fi setup and make vinyl listening even more enjoyable.

From the lighting, grade of wood, to the controls, this piece is a thing of beauty. I've always loved spectrum analyzers and audio visualizers. From the old analog ones all the way to Winamp and others. This Petru work of art is a new centerpiece to my HiFi sound system.

Had it for two weeks now and it really is amazing and gives a unique experiance when playing your tunes. Especially good for those laid back low key nights
It does its job, but should I buy it at that price?
★★★★☆ 4/5 · Minyong Y. · Philippines · · White Wood / White-Silver · Verified buyer
It aligns with the preferences of hi-fi users, and it is not a bad choice if you want to add a digital touch to LPs. It is true that it is expensive since it is handmade and not a mass-produced product. However, it would be better if it were possible to customize at least the sound input or the displayed graphics.

Overall great product. Very well made, easy to use & a great talking point. My only negative is having the sensitivity up high and picking up other unwanted background noises. Perhaps two microphones would be better, one each end instead of the one single one. Otherwise I am loving the added visual affects this adds to my music.

Amazing Accessory
★★★★★ 5/5 · Guido · United States · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Rose Gold · Verified buyer
This is such a fun, well-made accessory. The display options are great and we like to change them according to the vibe of the album. The rods for the stand could be a touch longer, we've found that sometimes our records topple back. But this is a truly incredibly minor inconvenience, with no bearing on the usability of the product.

★★★★★ 5/5 · Mark T. · United Kingdom · · Black Wood / All-Black · Verified buyer
There is, as far as I'm aware, nothing else like this anywhere else on the market that looks like it does or does what it does. It is, imho, an excellent piece of gadgetry that adds that something extra to your hi-fi setup, whatever it may be. I am of a certain age, where vinyl was king the first time around, and this just puts the icing on the cake, now that I'm dusting off all my old LPs and reliving the emotions I first felt 50 years ago, playing Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Queen, ELO and Fleetwood Mac for the first time, and this gadget is just a marvellous addition to my setup. Who knew in 1976, that 50 years later, this box of electronic brilliance would add such a wonderful visual addition to my ancient Technics SL1200 record deck, Technic RS-B905 tape deck, modern Audiolab 6000 amp and DALI Rubicon 2 (Natural Walnut) speakers. As I said, just buy it, it's an excellent addition, and you will thank me for recommending it.

The unit is the right size, and the customisation options means you can't really go wrong when designing to a particular space. Petru have kept the controls simple and effective, It would have been very easy to over complicate the unit... but there really isn't any need - so they didn't :)
The high build quality is obvious from the second you pick it up - a quality that is so rare these days, even in high end products.
(My only gripe was the postage time - so would recommend the express option - but 'over the moon' with the product).

Adding colour to music!
★★★★★ 5/5 · Prakash N. · India · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Gold · Verified buyer
I got it as a gift from a music loving friend and I’ve to admit, it is a beauty.
Late night vinyl sessions now get a complete different vibe. The colourful lights dancing to the rhythm of the music pulls you in and makes the music experience even more immersive.
The build quality needs a special mention. The clicks of the buttons adds to the analog experience.
The only downside, if I really have to point out, is that since they’re microphones picking up the music that is being played, it also picks up the excited chatter of people around admiring the stand, but then I’m not complaining:)
Great addition to my hifi

★★★★★ 5/5 · TAKASHI F. · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Rose Gold · Verified buyer
I first saw PETRU on social media and immediately loved it. I searched the internet and found the manufacturer's website, and since there's no distributor in Japan, I imported it directly. It took some time to arrive in Japan, but the tracking service allowed me to keep track of the situation at all times. I was incredibly happy when it finally arrived. When I post photos and videos of PETRU in my record enthusiast group on social media, I get flooded with questions about PETRU from friends all over the world. PETRU is the best.

Ordered the black version which complemented my setup. The instructions advise to use a dedicated USB charger(particularly if using the brighter settings) I have however just plugged it in the USB port at the back of my AMP and it works a treat.
It is well made, with lots of different settings to choose from. The holder not only displays Vinyl covers but CD cover too. It makes your HIFI setup come to life. Took a couple of weeks to arrive but it did state as such, when ordering.
Brilliant well made bit of kit.
Almost perfect

I love the overall look and feel of the product. The display options are cool and the mic is sensitive which is great. I don’t like the pins for supporting vinyl covers. The lowest height is too low (I guess it’s meant for CDs) and setting them to another height suitable for vinyls Is not super easy. I also think the walnut finish was a bit rough. Maybe it could be sanded more fine or it could be treated with a wood finish to make it a bit glossy.
Amazing

What a lovely thing this is. I knew I didnt need it but I really wanted it. As a crazed collector of vinyl Petru was the one thing missing ( apart from spending mega bucks on a new system which wasnt on the cards). Love the fact that there are loads of different settings which makes for lods of fun with the grandchildren. Petru is a beautifully made piece of tech - absolute quality. If you love music, love vinyl (or records) get one - worth every penny, cent, or whatever currency you use - have fun :-)

Worth the wait
★★★★★ 5/5 · LB · United Kingdom · · White Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
In a world of next-day delivery and disposable tech, there’s something deeply satisfying about waiting for a product that is actually built for you.
My Petru smart vinyl stand took just over a month to arrive, but honestly? The wait was not a problem for me. Because these are made-to-order in Lithuania, the delay felt like a guarantee of quality rather than a logistics failure. The team was great at keeping me in the loop with a personal update email, which only added to the reassuring sense of 'small-batch' authenticity.
The device itself is a beautiful fusion of old-school woodcraft and modern smart tech. It’s incredibly easy to use and has instantly become the aesthetic centerpiece of my listening room.
It’s a considered purchase, but if you value genuine craft over mass-produced immediacy, my advice is simple: place your order, put a record on, and just enjoy the music while they build your stand. When it finally arrives, you’ll realize that some things simply shouldn't be rushed

I love this vinyl record stand. It's an awesome product. I only wish I had waited to order because I really wanted it in white but it wasn't available at the time I ordered. 😕 It wasn't until I received the walnut one that the white one became available again. So, I want to write a fair review
★★★★★ 5/5 · AndyJT · Czechia · · Black Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
So, as the title suggests, I want to write a fair review, not only about the unit, but also the experience. So, I will say, from the moment of ordering to receiving, there is room for improvement, the unit took over 3 weeks to be dispatched, at one point it was sat "with label printed" but not dispatched for well over a week (two if memory serves me correctly), I contacted Petru, but no reply, this part of the customer service needs work. But, the unit itself is great, allows the record (or CD/DVD/Bluray case) to be displayed prominently and the graphics from the unit are a good mix, adding something a bit more visual while doing an activity which is more listening based. So I'm giving 5 stars, even with the issues for order/delivery. I originally saw this in a video from Techmoan on YouTube (so recommending his channel as well here), the unit doesn't disappoint and is a better build quality than any of the cheap units you get elsewhere.

As a record store owner I see a lot of vinyl accessories, and this one really stands out. The build quality is excellent and the walnut finish looks beautiful next to a turntable. I love the “now playing” feature – it’s a simple idea but it really adds something when you’re listening to records. It feels sturdy, well designed and clearly made with vinyl lovers in mind. Highly recommended if you want a stylish way to display the record that’s spinning.

The Perfect Birthday Gift. Absolutely Love My Petru Visualizer!
★★★★★ 5/5 · Esteban B. · Canada · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
I received the Petru visualizer as a birthday present, and honestly, it’s one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten. It adds such a unique and special touch to my setup; the colours, the movement, the overall vibe are incredible. It elevates my whole space and makes everything feel so much more personal and immersive.
And seriously… don’t fall for the cheap knock‑off versions floating around online. I’ve seen them; they look like they’re powered by hopes, dreams, and the cheapest LED someone could find. The real Petru makes all the difference.
If you’re thinking about getting one, do it. It’s beautifully made, super eye‑catching, and the perfect way to bring a little extra magic to any desk or room. Couldn’t be happier with it!

A lot of fun, but some problems are included
★★★☆☆ 3/5 · Tim · Germany · · Black Wood / Black-Gold · Verified buyer
The design is fantastic and the device is a lot of fun. However, what slightly detracts from the overall rating is the extremely long shipping time and two technical issues. The included USB-C cable had a loose connection, so I had to replace it. The most significant problem is that the microphone output for audio recording is on the left side, which makes visualizing sound from speakers that are on the right side almost impossible. Turning the 'Sensitivity' setting all the way up only helps to a limited extent, as every sound in the room is still picked up and visualized. Despite these issues, I'm really enjoying the device, even though the price was quite high.

Product is a show stopper. Wood is very nice quality and electronics works well. I am very pleased !!
If I had any improvements to suggest :
At the price it is sold I would expect the wall adapter (transformer) to be included to plug in the usb cable. It’s not a deal breaker, but I think it seems a bit of an odd choice since everything else is top notch.
Also, I see that while listening to music, any talking or coughing can be picked up (yes you can ajust the sensitivity) but perhaps an audio jack input could give the user the choice to put a « y » in the rca cables and bypass the microphone so the graph relies solely on the music being played and not pick up ambient noise (just a suggestion)
Game Changer!

I have to give a special shout out to this company. There was a shipping issue due to customs at the the US border with UPS, which would have made this Christmas present for my son late. The company identified the problem, reached out to me to verify my information, shipped a replacement by FedEx immediately, and I received it before Christmas. They went above and beyond in a situation that wasn't their fault to make it right. Super impressed with that type of customer service alone. And as for the product? It is a work of art and hand crafted with quality materials. It performs even better than I anticipated and the screen is beautiful. The wood and metals are genuine and high quality. Everyone who has seen this was wowed and asked all about it. The visualizations are mesmerizing and using it is simple and intuitive. This is a purchase that feels worth every dollar and I am happy to support a company making such a quality product with outstanding customer service.

....having this device lighting up in several ways next to my turntable. The ordering was simple and the delivery was fast. Gives a great upgrade to your soundsystem. Maybe for a next version it could be great to have it connected directly to one of your outputs, for instance as an option to not be activated by surround noices like voices etc. Thanks Petru!!

★★★★★ 5/5 · Oliver B. · Germany · · White Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
Since I have added this convenient visualizer to my Hifi set, my pleasure in listening to music has been intensified. I was a bit sceptical before, would it work as it should, would the colour options (of the various modes) look nice, would the overall quality be good? Well, to start with, the "vinyl record stand" works with CDs as well and it's much more than just a "stand". There's a good variety of visualisations to choose from. OK, not all are that good, some are a bit too simple for my taste, but others look absolutely splendid, and there should be something for everybody. The sensitivity to different volumes can be accurately adjusted by a control button. It even works at very low volumes, eg. when you whisper, if you want to try that. Overall, a great product that is worth every penny.
You don't need it, but you NEED it.
★★★★★ 5/5 · Kevin A. · United States · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
From a playback standpoint, from a purely audio perspective, this doesn't do anything for your vinyl listening. But for your setup and listening *experience* it add a whole lot. Like, honestly it feels incomplete to listen without it. My kids love messing with it and changing up the setting for different visualations means it never gets stale. It's also just beautiful, and the top posts are tall enough to hold double albums for display that toppled over with all my other record stands. Just buy it you want to and you will not regret it.

It works great as designed
★★★★★ 5/5 · Kyle S. · Canada · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
It's great and works exactly as designed. There is nothing to complain about it. I do wish that I could bypass the microphone and put the audio signal directly into the device as my speakers are a little too far away from the device for the microphone to easily pick up the sound so there is very little action on the display. What would make this a perfect device would be one that acts like a phono amplifier because it wouldn't pick up surrounding ambient noise and only the music signal would be displayed.

Then my obsession transitioned to looking at other people’s “PETRU now playing” and their audio set- up(s) . So fun !
I am using mine only as an audio visualizer and totally love the vibe as it sits beside my Himalayan Salt Lamp .

★★★★★ 5/5 · Angel A. · Argentina · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
I recently purchased a vinyl stand from Petru and couldn’t be happier. The design brings a fresh aesthetic to my audio corner, striking the perfect balance between analog warmth and modern elegance.
The customer service was outstanding — they guided me through the shipping process with great care, especially since I was traveling abroad at the time. Their attention to detail and commitment to helping me get exactly what I needed made the whole experience seamless.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their vinyl setup with both style and substance.

I’ve had the PETRU “now playing stand” for a few weeks now, it has a lovely nostalgic look to it and takes me back to the days of wearing flared trousers and disco dancing. Easy to use and adds a splash of colour and movement to a good listening session. Good fun.

I was going a lot true research on Internets, for vizualization and vinyl holders, but always something was not quite right with things what I found, either it was disaine, ore the connection what it was asking for. But then I found Petru, perfect combination with looks and design. Build quality is really good, and whey how it's representing it self is great. Wood Frame, stylish knoobs, brite display, and place where to put your vinyl cover, and cd when u play them. And Don't forget that you have choice betwen knob and frame colors, so it could go toghether with your gear. The one of the great features is that you can personalise how bright, ore what kind of visualization u would like to use, there are choices, and it all ap to you. No extra connections, plug and play. Lovely that it has typ C for feeding it, and u are ready to go. Ouu and don't forget also about the mic what listens on what you are playing, that small thing what is build inside does great job, you don't need to be worried that vocal, or some instruments gonna be mist, no no, it hears all off it. You just control it how sensitive you whant it to be, and enyoi with your favorite music and visualization. I gonna get one more, I need to get one more for my other room, where I can Enyoi my evening coffe, and my favorite artists on my Vinyl. So don't whait to long, and get one, one more whay how to express yourself in this musical yourney off PETRU. I'm giving 5 from 5 stars.

I'd been wanting to add one of these charming displays to my music room ever since they first started popping up in my IG feed. The design aesthetic is really spot-on and my impulsive decision to go with the white really paid off. And the LEDs’ responsiveness is really great. Love all the display options, as well.

Very happy with the purchase on this. This was also a purchase I was hesitant on at a certain price point, and I am sure with other reviews, the hesitancy goes away once it arrives. Just as the described on the site, The Petru stand is superb craftmanship and well packaged on arrival. What I like the most is the simplicity of the stand, it just works immediately and complements any vinyl setup with the mixture of wood craftmanship and a digital display that has the feeling of lasting many years. Thank you for a great product!

★★★★★ 5/5 · Tommy R. · United States · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
I don’t like to leave reviews so soon, but I think there is a time limit before I can’t anymore. It works as expected and I really like it. I just hope I don’t have issues with it moving forward or within 12 months. I can honestly see myself using this once or twice a week for like a few hours. So with that usage, I hope this is a long term investment. It will be fantastic if it lasts for years. I hope there is a way to reach out for support if it breaks.

Good quality product with some limitations
★★★★☆ 4/5 · Victor S. · Sweden · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
I love my visualizer, good quality, simple to use and set up. There are just some limitations that keeps it from a 5/5 product, like not being able to choose a solid color you like on the different modes, the amount of modes you can choose is also limited (I would like some static or more lowkey modes like the now playing title in smaller text and moving slower) & lastly not all records will fit on the stand. I added some rubber supports to be able to fit larger boxsets & tri-folds. Over all I highly recommend the product!

Retro design, modern vibes, and futuristic shame all in one
★★★★☆ 4/5 · Jeff G. · United States · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Gold · Verified buyer
I've rated this product four stars and not five simply because of the price. If Lite Brite on Steriods lasts for 5 years without blowing a fuse, I'll change my review to 5 stars, but by that time our dystopian transformation into Blade Runner 2029 will be old news or I'll have simply forgotten all my Interweb passwords
So what do you get? For $200, you essentially get a microphone, an LED display, and a motherboard that does basic bitch signal processing and converts any noise it hears (including your sneezes, burps, and your wife's farts) into a technicolor waveform of joy. With the right equipment my Uncle Jerry make it for half the price, but it of course it would look like dog balls and smell like his basement.
With that being said, Petru gets the little details right. Those Calvin Klein basement wood paneltones and shiny metallic knobs slay, the sharp-angled facade slaps like authentic late-early-70's stereo porn , and the stand displays my LPs like a goddamn boss. In spite of what previous reviewer had said, it even holds my double ablums great. The Soundtrack to Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band which features disco and and glam rock versions of Beatles classics Peter Frampton and the BeeGees looks fucking fantastic even though it still sounds like a steaming pile of turd.
And the display... well, it's just goddamn gorgeous. The colors are gay-pride vibrant, the waveforms pulse like a Skittles rainbow, and it delivers exactly the experience it promises: I get a fantastic conversion piece over a six pack of non-alocholic beers and a glowing reminder than even though we live in a World of Utter Excess, I can still bitterly complain about the price of gas and electric to my high school Facebook friends while burning through a fuck ton of extra kilowatts nightly without batting an eyelash, because hey....how can you NOT listen to Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" without killing a few more redwoods? I take obscene pleasure in knowing every time I turn this puppy on, somewhere a kitten dies.
Welcome to your own personal electric light orchestra! And on the bright side, at least it's not powered by AI...... yet.

My sister had a. color organ/disco light back in the 70's and I was obsessed with it. This smaller, updated device is even better! Adjustable sensitivity and an array of display options make it really fun. I do wish it could be adjusted a little dimmer. It's pretty bright!
I ordered the walnut color and then decided I'd rather have black. I emailed the company and they immediately responded that they would change the order. The item arrived quickly and well packaged.

This item was a fun and colorful addition to my home hifi experience. Build quality is pretty robust and the overall performance has been great so far. A few areas of improvement though: Email communication needs to be remedied (not enough) and the Two posts that serve as the stand /support for the album cover could be a bit better if they had threaded ends instead of the current design. Otherwise a solid product.

I'd been looking for a visualizer option for quite a long time and had almost decided to use VU meters. Then I stumbled across this through (of all things) facebook ads and once I looked up some reviews and videos (Techmoan's youtube video is outstanding), I decided to go for it. It arrived in good time and had been shipped securely. Out of the box before even plugging it in, it looked really cool with the knob options I chose. After plugging it in, turning it on and adjusting the sensitivity, I started playing with the modes and was immediately in love with what it looked like. No buyers remorse at all. Customer service was excellent. Overall, I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for - well - something like this!

First of all, I apologize for my bad english, it is not my native language. I love the product, is a must-have addition for any setup, super eye-catching and fun, you can't take your eyes off of it. The only downsizes are the build quality, it feels really low on weight, and the isolation rubbers, I mean, the 4 little silicone feet could be more high quality, and the wood could be improved. Other than that, super recommended product.
Presentation could be better
★★★★☆ 4/5 · Conor · Ireland · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
Objectively the device is good, and does what it says. It looks cool, and I think I’ll enjoy it. However the price meant that it was a bit of an indulgence, and so I was disappointed with the quality of information provided during the sales process (no estimated arrival date was given, just a website notice that order are taking “longer”). Added to that the logistics company (GLS ) also didn’t have great customer information: despite checking the tracking information regularly for nearly three weeks, I only got an estimated delivery date on the same day it was delivered!
Perhaps that’s not something the seller can control, but they definitely can control the quality of the packaging materials. The cardboard box used was pretty low-rent and I had to fight my way with scissors through a load of packing tape. That wouldn’t be a problem ordering from a Chinese discount website, but at $200 for a glorified wooden box with an LED screen, I’d expect the whole thing to feel a bit more premium.
Brilliant bit of kit

I ordered a unit, but unlucky, it got lost during shipping somewhere in Poland. When pointing this out to PETRU they promptly send a replacement with the generous addition of replacement knobs in all colors! Love all the modes and how it adjusts sensitivity. It’s super intuitive and soooo good looking! I’m even getting a whole table to showcase it. Not on my video yet but will update when I have it!
A Deep Dive into the Smart Now Playing Vinyl Record Stand, by Petru
★★★★☆ 4/5 · Jo V. · Belgium · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
I recently tried the Smart Now-Playing Vinyl Record Stand by Petru and was impressed by its sleek design and how it brings visual fun to my music listening experience.
That said, I noticed a few small areas where Petru could enhance the user experience even further:
Electric/USB C Cord Length: While the product performs excellently, the power cord feels a bit too short for flexible placement options.
Mode Button Explanation: The mode button is a great feature, but it could benefit from a clearer explanation or a quick-start guide for first-time users.
These are minor considerations that don’t take away from the overall quality of the product.

The beautiful display and function are quality and worth your money. Would def buy again.
HOWEVER, how much extra does it cost to have a line-in RCA for EQ display accuracy ? It’s cringy to know it really isn’t that much extra work for a MUCH BETTER product that could have spin-off products similar with a Line-In RCA EQ display like this one. Just saying, you’re leaving money on the table and massive increase in loyal customers

I will start by saying that this was a gift for my husband, who has a modest vynil collection (250) but he is not the only one enjoying the light display my toddler (2 years old girl) it's absolutely obsessed with it! She wakes up and asked for her onw vinyl to be display with the lights (Troll's and Encanto sounds track) are going on and on with this fantastic machine! My husband has also been able to enjoyed and it's extremely relaxing to watch it, while hearing your tunes and a glass of wine! My only complaint could be that I bought it on black Friday and was a bit on the dark about the shipment, but I reached out support and everything went smoothly!

The Smart Now Playing Vinyl Record Stand really added a fun energy to my turntable without being overtly obvious.
It works exactly as advertised and was very easy to set up and understand.
My only complaint is that shipping took a really long time to arrive in the western US from Europe and tracking was challenging once it hit USPS. I think it took about three weeks to arrive using the free shipping provided. If I were to buy again, I’d pay for upgraded shipping.
Definitely happy either way my purchase!

Did I want this? Yes. But did I need it? Yes!
It is hard to find the words (I’ll try) to express how much I appreciate this product. It is well made, the communication from the team is first rate, the international shipping prompt and packaging enough not to damage it without being excessive. The Petru enhances the listening experience and living space. It is good to look at when it’s off and is as captivating as you need it to be when it’s on. No longer storing my album sleeves in a bush is also a win!

Hi, I really like it. Visualizations are great - device makes fun (and the delivery to germany was easy and uncomplicated!)
One idea to make the product even better:
Please add an "audio in" option in addition to the microphone.
Today you have to set the "sensitivity" depending on the volume - this would be no more necessary.
Nice desing and works perfectly

This is exactly as good as I hoped it would be! Having watched some YouTube reviews I anticipated this being a fun addition to my setup, and I am not disappointed. Quality feel and finish, super easy to setup and start using in about 1 minute of opening the box. Colourful and fun in operation, and I can change the display to match my mood or the music I am playing.

Overall, it’s awesome. And if you are even browsing this page then the answer is yes, purchase it. Couple things to be aware of: 1. This is an international purchase. Maybe they did have a disclaimer but I missed it. Saw a $3 charge from navy federal and was worried it might be fraud but they advised it was linked to this purchase. Just be aware of that. 2. Shipping takes a while. It’s expected for custom creations especially finding out it comes from across the pond, but just know it’ll probably take 3-4 weeks for it to makes its way to you. I have two complaints that do NOT take away 5/5 stars. Again BUY IT. It’s awesome and unique and will be a talking point for sure. Complaint 1: the pegs and horizontal bar are not centered perfectly on the top which only you will notice. But if you’re “OCD,” you will definitely notice. But only if no record is displayed. Again, only you will notice. Nobody else will. Complaint 2: the black borders surrounding the actual LEDs/screen is not the same all the way around. There is more frame on one side of the screen. Almost double. Not really a complaint but an opportunity for improvement, the arms/legs can be pushed down to what seems like the base of the unit inside. I thought this would be the correct “setup” but due to how shallow the horizontal arm is, the record would flip out of the hold of the system with even a gentle touch. It was also very top-back heavy. However, simply raising the arms fixes this. Maybe you guys could put little “blocks” inside under the holes so it can only go done so far. As for a simple nitpicking wish list item, another foot of cable would be preferred. This is all constructive for the maker, I don’t want anyone to be dissuaded by my hyper-critical review. I’m spending the time to write all this because I love it that much, and I want it to be better. And on the flip side I also appreciate minor “homemade” imperfections of custom items. Apparently this guy just posted a project he did for himself on Reddit and people starting wanting to send him money to make them one. It is so cool, and VERY bright. The sound sensitivity and display are very well implemented and you can fine tune it to make it perfect for any volume. Just don’t have it on a sub or the low end bars of the equalizer will always be maxed out no matter how low the volume is, because for volume too low then you don’t get any response from the high ends. If you love music and tech, and want a display stand, SPLURGE. I plan on making a custom acrylic “vinyl cover” to display when I’m playing Bluetooth and not a record with a “now playing screen” and a QR code for a “home playlist” that links visitors to my Spotify where put music I want to share. Very cool device. Thanks a ton. Maybe if you grow big enough you can have an app developed that allows for customer visualizations. But then again having the technology simplified pretty much future proofs it for life. I’m rambling because my drink is kicking in. Buy it!
Essential for every vinyl lover!

★★★★★ 5/5 · Hector M.L. · United States · · Natural Walnut Wood / Black-Rose Gold · Verified buyer
Ever since I saw this on Techmoan’s YouTube channel and then on Vinyl Rewind and I knew I had to have it. First I had already been looking for a cool record stand and I was hoping to find something with lights. Second, I’ve been looking for a cool graphic audio visualizer, something I've loved since a baby lol and this is exactly what I wanted without knowing. It’s a beautiful handcrafted design. It’s a pretty simple design but it’s perfect and makes it easy to customize it with paint if someone wanted to. It only requires one power cable and has 3 controls. It has different visual modes and a Now Playing banner. It doesn’t feel cheap and is very sturdy, enough for records. I love it. Looking forward other products you come up with. Shipping is a pain but it's worth the wait.

Love mine so much. It was incredibly easy to set up out of box, literally just turning knobs. I love the colors and how perfectly it works. I wish there were more options for the display, some brown tones only, white to to black(grey tones), and an option to rotate on its own would be cool. A remote in a future edition would be great also. Otherwise I’m so happy with this product and can’t wait to see what else is in store in the future. Delivery took about one month to California, but worth the wait!

Let me say that I love it. It took forever to get here(or it seemed like it!), almost 30 days but it was worth the wait. After watching so many different videos on it I needed a record jacket stand and I had an old 70's visualizer that I truly enjoy. But this is on another level. So many options, so many ways to look at the display. The sensitivity knob is great for lower volume songs, and the brightness gives you such a colorful display! All the modes are cool and you will find you like all of them as they can serve a purpose for different music! Its a 5 Star for me all the way!! I am working on a full review for my Youtube channel so stay tuned!

This is a fun record stand, nice wood work and machined metal pegs. Display is great too. I’d recommend the next iteration should have a battery option so you don’t need a plug to power it and can display anywhere, it would also be nice to have color change option for “Now Playing “ but overall love this display.

Awesome piece of tech! Probably going to purchase more in the future. Only complaint I would have is I wish the record holding parts were a little longer in the back and the front to be a little higher/thicker. Have issues with putting a record on it with a vinyl protector sleeve over the jacket. Doesn’t wanna stay put. But not a deal breaker at all as the jackets look better without the glare. Would 100 recommend this purchase!! Thanks -Mike

Not just for vinyl lovers, CDs are perfect too!
★★★★★ 5/5 · Tim S. · United States · · Verified buyer
I don't do vinyl, I do CDs. I've been using plastic plate stands to display my CDs when I play them. When I saw this I knew it would be perfect to replace those in a very stylish way and also a way to visualize my music. Works perfectly for CDs! Just wish it could be adjustable in some way to accommodate smaller box sets or large sets that come in a book. But that's just being nitpicky haha! I love that you don't have to plug this in to your audio system, the microphone is perfect for something like this! This is not meant to be a spectrum analyzer it's meant to be a visualizer which is what it does perfectly! Really glad I made this purchase and have recommended it to a few of mine in this printer at area
Very Nice

I saw this record stand/display on Techmoan's site and decided to order it. The order process was easy, but the shipping was pretty bad. I contacted PETRU about not receiving the item, and they were very helpful and replied to my emails right away. I finally gave up on waiting for the stand, and requested a refund, which PETRU gave me right away. Naturally, a few days after getting the refund, the item arrrived. I think it was about two months or so. I then contacted PETRU and told them to rebill me, which they did.
I've used the stand for about a month now and really like it. It looks cool with the rest of my vintage stereo gear. The microphone is sensitive enough that I don't have to blast the stereo to get the display moving. The sensitivity control works well, and it is easy to scroll through the various display settings.
A very nice piece of gear.
Very cool and well made

Bought as a present for my partner, who absolutely loves it. It's very well made, the lights are fantastic and it's already a major talking point for guests in our house. Took a little while to ship out due to needing materials, but we had updates from the team to let us know that they were still working on it which is really nice (and even with the delays, it still came to us pretty fast considering we live in Australia).

This is a great product that you can benefit from if you enjoy actively listening to music. A lot of music these days is consumed as background noise . If you like to sit down and really appreciate an album, this is a nice complement that isn't distracting and helps you think about what you're listening to in different ways.
It's very well constructed and designed, arrived with no damage. I really like the look of it and the wood + metal + visualizations reminds me of the nearly forgotten Atari Video Music console, which is one of my favorite things but really impractical these days.
The one flaw I have found is that the lip in front is a little too stubby to hold a record up that has a plastic sleeve with an exposed seam along the bottom, as some of the cheaper ones do. I plan to modify this with a little bit bit of L-shaped aluminum extusion with a slot cut into it to go over the existing bar.
Excellent build quality!

★★★★★ 5/5 · Dana F. · United States · · Verified buyer
This is a great little device that sort of a novelty but reminds me when I was a kid and all the electronic entertainment had equalizer bars and we also used to have a music visualizer. It’s very late 60s early 70s aesthetic but much more modern and it has high-quality LEDs that are very bright. It looks really good. I have to turn the sensitivity quite high but it works well. I kind of wish there was at least one more non-music visualization mode just because I really like that one the Star Trek looking one but I understand if you have too many modes it gets kind of cluttered so overall though I just plug it into the TV and enjoy all that LED goodness. And even though the price is a little high for a novelty, it’s high-quality, so I don’t mind paying the price.
Great record stand and even cooler record decor!

I’m absolutely mesmerized by the light display and love the retro look of the wood grain, control knobs and minimal record stand metal frames. The product works as described and looks great on display. Thanks Petru Designs for making exactly what I’ve been looking for for years!

★★★★★ 5/5 · Chris P. · Canada · · Verified buyer
Such a cool addition to my audio setup. Very responsive and vibrant display. Adds a really neat effect to my stereo. I really like that the brightness is adjustable if you want it to be more subtle as well. Styling allows it to fit in with a new more modern looking stereo, but also right at home with an older silver faced setup from the golden era. I can't think of anything that could be improved. I almost forget that it is also a functional record display stand. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to add a little bit of flair to their stereo.

Despite being overwhelmed with orders after being featured on the Techmoan Youtube channel, I got my order pretty quickly all the way across the Atlantic. It was really well packaged and arrived safe and sound.
The device runs off USB and I've plugged mine in to the port on my TV which means it fires up whenever I'm using my AppleTV to watch something or listen to music. It's refreshing not to have a device that requires an app or wifi, and all the hassle and future-proofing worries those bring.
The device looks deliberately handmade but it is highly professional in its finish and responds to sounds without any lag. There's a number of different presets but to be honest once you find the one you like, you'll probably stick with it. I like it. If they do one the width of my TV I'll probably order one of those too.
Nice job.

Beautifully made and works so well. The mic is sensitive to pick up even the softest sounds if needed. The display is bright and refreshes very fast. Highly recommended for anyone who loves visual accompaniment with their music!

Good quality, many colorful modes, works perfectly! I would definitely buy it again!
Some things should be improved: Last mode is rembered but not the color of it. For example: clock starts always in blue, even it was red when I switched off.
Speed of scrolling text and ambient modes should be adjustable as well.
We asked and Petru Designs built it!

I was fortunate enough to snag an early access founders edition. Major improvements over the already very cool original. Wider unit, more interactivity, and most importantly, for a father of energetic and noisy twin boys, a direct audio line in. I moved my original Petru in walnut over to my vintage yammy rig in my hifi “audio lab”. Love it 🤙

Avevo già il modello precedente ma questo è più grande e quindi i vinili si appoggiano meglio ed inoltre il display ha delle opzioni di visualizzazione migliorate.
Veramente bello, grazie Petru!

Just like the first edition, this pro edition is just a bit more of everything. More modes, more colors and analog RCA input for instant full range music visualization. It was difficult for me to find a way to feed the RCA because I use mostly digital equipment. My only option was to use zone2 pre amp which doesn't work for digital music but at least USB and AirPlay or play and looks pretty amazing. The mic input is very similar if not exactly the same as the previous model, and I kind of wish, they added a second mic on the opposite side and combined the two so that it was more sensitive. I listene to music at a low volume, so I have to turn the sensitivity 100% and it would be nice just to have a little headroom there. But overall, it still works great. I like the the look, the high-quality and vibrant visualization that is much better than any equalizer visual even on high-end equipment.
Fabulous

PETRU Sync PRO Review From a Vinyl Curator & Visual User

PETRU Sync PRO makes the experience of playing the record feel bigger. And sometimes, that's exactly what you want. As someone who also creates visual content, that makes a huge difference. Put a great album on display, turn on the Sync PRO, frame the shot, and suddenly you have something that looks intentional rather than simply recording a turntable playing a record. It gives the camera something to capture, the album artwork, the lighting, the movement, and the atmosphere all working together.

I was very excited to upgrade to the newer model but was just as happy having the original. Yes it’s wider so more screen and balance shape relative to the album. I wasn’t impressed with the array of patterns and kinda liked the simplicity of the original. Same setup for my stereo equipment, yet the new model seems to rise with bass, despite me adjusting the sensitivity on the front and back. I liked when the original was turned on the display would read now playing. The new one displays Petru Pro. Yes there are a lot more inputs as well and I’m assuming a decision made from listening to customers. How often does someone change the inputs??? The display is beautiful and bright and of course more led with a wider unit. Love that! Hopefully there is an option where we can update the unit. Perhaps Petru will make a pc based software that allows the user to upload different patterns or remove ones they simply don’t like. Looking forward to more.
Exceptional build quality and a stunning addition to any hi-fi setup!

I recently added the PETRU Sync PRO to my audio system, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. From both an aesthetic and functional standpoint, this unit is an absolute masterpiece.
Build Quality & Design:
The craftsmanship is top-tier. The real wood enclosure blends seamlessly with premium audio components, giving it a sophisticated, vintage-modern look that catches the eye immediately without looking out of place next to high-end gear. The physical metal knobs have a wonderful, weighted tactile feel—adjusting them is genuinely satisfying.
Functionality & Controls:
The layout is intuitive and extremely practical. Having dedicated, easily accessible rotary knobs for ON/OFF BRIGHTNESS, SENSITIVITY, and MODE gives you total control over the visual presentation. The sensitivity dial allows for precise calibration across different listening levels, ensuring the display responds accurately whether you're enjoying quiet listening sessions or pushing the system further. The brightness control is also a fantastic touch, allowing you to easily adjust the illumination to suit your room's ambiance.
Verdict:
The PETRU Sync PRO is more than just a visual accessory; it adds that classic, hypnotic analog charm to the listening experience while maintaining professional-grade build integrity. Highly recommended for any audio enthusiast looking to elevate both the look and feel of their listening room!
Petru Pro = Game Changer
★★★★★ 5/5 · Julien C. · Canada · · Black Wood / Black-Silver · Verified buyer
I’ve been using the original Petru for about a year and have always loved the product, so when the Petru Pro became available, I decided it was time to upgrade. I’m incredibly glad I did — the Pro is a complete game changer.
For me, the biggest improvement is the addition of the direct line inputs. With the original Petru, I used the microphone to pick up the music from my record player. It worked well, but because I live near a busy street in the city, the microphone would inevitably pick up some of the surrounding noise.
Being able to connect my record player directly to the Petru Pro completely changes the experience. The response is now absolutely flawless — clean, precise, and perfectly reacting to the music without any unwanted background noise.
I already loved my original Petru, but the Pro takes the experience to another level. After using Petru for a year and now experiencing the Pro, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. It’s such a unique product, and I’m very happy to support a company that continues to improve on an already fantastic idea.
An eye-catching addition to my office

I have had the previous iteration of this product for quite a while, and really enjoyed it. I was intrigued when Petru announced the new version of the Sync Pro, and ordered it. This new version is a bit longer, with more pixels to play with. I normally keep the unit on the random visualization setting which always elicits wonder and praise from visitors.
Just awesome !🤩

I’ve been using the standard version for a couple of months and was already really happy with the build quality. I recently upgraded to the new Pro version, and it really delivers.
Connected via RCA to my Eversolo and Denon amplifier, it fits perfectly into my setup and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The difference is easy to hear, and I’m very happy with the upgrade.
Two thumbs up to the whole team, and thanks for making such a great product!

This is a nice addition to the visualizer. Knobs are well made and colorful, allowing you to switch them out for a different vibe from time to time! Comes with a handy knob puller that doesn't cause damage when used to remove the knobs.
Definitely recommend!
